My son is almost 13 months and still the monitor at night. The other day someone told me there was no reason to use, and said something along the lines of "ABNABELN" blah, blah, blah, blah. My son rarely wake in the night, but my husband and I sleep with a fan so worried that if he can wake up and need us, you will not hear. I never really thought that if you stop the monitor, but I was curious to see other parents when they decided to stop.
