Ubuntu Sony Nw130j Desktop Effects Can Someone Help Me Get Desktop Effects To Work On Linux Mint?

Can someone help me get desktop effects to work on linux mint? - ubuntu sony nw130j desktop effects

Whenever I try to still allow normal desktop Linux Mint Special Effects (Gloria), he can not do. I tried it on Ubuntu and got the same answer that I am currently on a Sony Vaio VGN-nw130j laptop with a 4570-series ATI Mobility Radeon HD. They also have an Intel Core 2 Duo. if someone can help that would be great.

Looks like you have not installed any video card

Here is the official Ubuntu documentation ATI (was the case for Linux Mint)

ATI

Radeon

RadeonXpress

After you install the graphics driver, REBOOT

Compiz

Called Go to Advanced Desktop Settings (can be Compiz Config Settings Manager) in the settings.

1. Click on general options at the top, select the tab "Desktop size, you will see the horizontal virtual size is increased from 2 to 4
2. For the desktop interface, and select Advanced Desktop Settings Manager buckets and power.
3. Enable Rotate Cube.
4.Activate Expo.
5. Enable Viewport Switcher.
6. Enable Cube Reflection.
7. Enable animations.

Alt + F2

compiz - replace

There are many tools and plugins that I was in the advanced desktop settings manager, so you can customize your desktop, without end
