Understanding Digital Slr Lenses Navigating The Menus I Dont Understand The Digital Converter Box Transition?

I dont understand the digital converter box transition? - understanding digital slr lenses navigating the menus

I searched and searched the Internet and do not understand the difference between digital and analog? Is this, like AM radio with FM? I dont get it. Can anyone break style of kindergarten?

TV signals are sent in two waves ... Analog and digital .. similar in time is the most commonly used .. Digital signals are not complete, but that will change when the switch is "Big One" will take place ... You can guarantee your coverage areas and change over time in the row.

It is really the * content * of the signal, which is different. While there are some differences in the waveforms due to the different modulation of transmission, both analog and digital TV signals have the same frequency (channel) and can be collected with the same antenna.

Analog TV signals are continuous signals that rise and fall in direct relation with the brightness of the picture elements (although in reality they are discrete points) in analog.

In digital television, the video as a sequence of images into individual pixels, which are each assigned a number proportional to its brightness red, green and blue, broken covers. You are in a different presentation of the colors are compressed and converted. The compression than MPEG-2 and uses a series of techniques that allow the number of bits of the video is very low. Of central importance of these techniques is to use the redundancy in successive frames to reduce the bitrate. What has changed only slightly from one image to another, not only changesED encrypted and sent.

Analog is the process of making a video or audio signal and translate it into electronic pulses. Digital on the other hand, the signal increases in a binary format where the audio or video represented by a series of '1 'and '0' s.

The difference between analog TV and digital TV is important to be entrusted as the TV signal. Standard analog TV is in a similar way as the radio transmitted.
In fact, the video signal of analog television is transmitted in AM, while the sound is transmitted in FM. Analog TV is subject to problems such as ghosting and snow, depending on distance and location of the reception of television signals.

In addition, the limited bandwidth allocated to an analog TV channel, the resolution and overall image quality. The current standard analog TV (the U.S. signals) is known as NTSC.

Digital TV or DTV (TV w / ATSC or QAM), on the other side, as data bits of information and computer data sent or posted as the music WRItten on one CD. Thus, the signal is essentially "on" or "off". In other words, the technology of digital television that the viewer sees a picture, or nothing. There is no gradual signal loss with distance from the transmitter. If the viewer is too far from the station or undesirable in a situation where there is nothing to see.

Moreover, since the digital television signal is composed of "bits", the size of the bandwidth that an analog TV signal and power, and not only wants a higher quality image in digital form, but uses no additional space for the TV signal can be additional video, audio and text are used signals.

Occupied in other words, broadcasters offer additional features such as surround sound in multiple languages, text-sound services, and more in the same room now by a signal from the standard analog television. However, there is an advantage of more space capacity of a digital TV channel capacity, high definition (HDTV) transmitted signal.

Finally, a difference between digital TV andAlog TV is the transmission capacity of programming in true widescreen format (16x9) format. The shape of the image looks more like a canvas, so that the viewers see the film, as determined by the filmmaker. In sport you can get more action in a shot from the camera, as seen in the observation of the length of a football field without getting such a great distance from the camera.

Hope this helps.

From a user perspective, as much as FM radio, with the exception that the stations are required to send in the new format to the old format is gone and needs a new or a converter to work with all the old, or is nothing if the old format ..

wat was used to use analog (u even if, in addition to the cheap) is similar to FM radio and digital television and radio XM
